Join us for the 5th Annual North Palm Beach LINKS 5K GHOST RUN on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The 3.1 mile route provides a unique opportunity to explore the newly renovated Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course at the North Palm Beach Country Club. The course is walker and runner friendly with a few hills. You will run on golf cart paths shaded by oak trees and across soft grass with views of the intracoastal, glittering ponds, and the gorgeous homes along the golf course.
Golf Course Policy: Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course. Spectators may bring a stroller. Only runners and walkers are allowed on the course.
Fun for the entire family – the Li’l Goblin Gallop is a 100 yard dash across the finish line for kids 7 and under. The Monster Mile is a one mile timed race for children 8-12 with awards for first, second, third boy/girl and medals for all finishers.
Wear your best Halloween running outfit to take part in the Costume Contest with fabulous prizes.
At the finish line, a unique collectors finisher medal and iced water await you before the awards ceremony at 8:45am.

7:30AM 5K start. Monster Miler 8:30AM. Li’l Goblin Gallop for kids 7 and under 8:30AM

PARKING: Parking is available at the Country Club at 951 US-1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Overflow parking across the street. Please follow directions from parking volunteers.
FINISHER MEDAL: Halloween themed medal. Stay tuned for the medal reveal.
COSTUME CONTEST: Wear your best Halloween running outfit for a chance to win fabulous prizes in the costume contest.
OVERALL AND AGE GROUP AWARDS:
Ghost Run 5K: 1st/2nd/3rd Overall, 1st Master, 1st Grandmaster. 5 year age groups from 8 and under to 85 and over.
Monster Mile: 1st/2nd/3rd Overall Boy/Girl
Awards will be presented for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall in both the 5K and Monster Mile races, along with awards for the 1st Master and 1st Grandmaster in the 5K. The presentation will commence at 8:45 AM.
After the ceremony, winners in the age groups can collect their awards and have their photos taken on the awards podium.

MONSTER MILE: 1-Mile chip timed race for ages 7 to 12. Shirts, finisher medals and awards for top 3 boys/girls.
LI’L GOBLIN GALLOP: Fun 100-yard dash for ages 7 and under. Finisher medals for all.
North Palm Beach Links 5K Ghost Run is part of the Palm Beaches Race Series.

The Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course at the North Palm Beach Country Club was redesigned in the fall of 2006, then upgraded again in 2019 with new turf throughout the entire course. It is one of only two Jack Nicklaus Signature Municipal golf courses in the United States, and is one of the premier golf destinations in Florida.
The undulating terrain, beautiful green turf and the amazing setting on the Intracoastal Waterway make this course stand out as a great scenic destination — in addition to its function as a top-tier golf course. Sitting atop the Seminole Ridge, the picturesque layout was artfully designed to work with the natural terrain, from the Intracoastal Waterway to the many natural oak hammock trees.
